I love Duality, I've listened to it for like ever and it never gets old.

Not a huge fan, but they are okay. Some songs I don't like though, like Wait and Bleed.

 

yea slipknot is amazing

 

those people who just think this is another heavy metal band is wrong. People who never listen to heavy metal, classify it to "all sound the same" when in fact it is much like other genres. eg. if you never listen to punk/emo rock then it will also all sound the same. Instead of shaking your head in discust try and bring yourself to appreciate them as they work hard to make music. listen to individual qualities of the songs, for example the drum line etc. and then see how the other parts overlap over each other to create the music. It is not just a whole bunch of screaming and shouting, there is much talent involved.

Favorite songs would have to be Vermilion and Purity(including the Frail Limb Nursery intro) Purity has a very interesting story behind it. its actually quite creepy

I listen to everything from Vital Remains "Dechristianize" to Judas Priest's "Sad Wings Of Destiny", so basically all in-between. I find they don't really bring much to the table. Their drums sound decent, but they don't have anything special about them. Nothing tangible. When you listen to something like Painkiller from Judas Priest, its different then anything before. Scott Travis' intro could never be replicated in a different form and still have the same effect.
Just my opinion though

all im saying is that ppl should treat bands with respect even if they dont like how they sound.
