Has RuneScape ever been hacked/reset?

Man when had the 5 phats I had and when the massacre happened im like o shit I died from a level 98
pissed me off

 

Yeah I saw the vids of the fally masacre. It was great. You could fight in the fight pits in the dungeon of a new house, but when you lost you would be teleported outside the house and you could fight anyone outside the wildy.
Then all mods came and told everyone to bank their stuff, but everyone just kept fighting and thought quite some phats were lost by people.

 

There was a reset before, I wasn't there but this kid who just sold 1k sharks got his sharks back in a few minutes lol.

 

i heard about fala massacre but thats about it

 

if anyone has ever heard of auragod, when he used to work for jagex he made 3 swords that would actually freeze time in rs, they were all hidden in random places, and 2 of them were used and just logged everyone out.

It's not possible (well it is...) but it would have to be an inside job as they only allow connections to the RS code/databses via their LAN.

Durial was NO WHERE near close to hacking (all he did was bug abuse), the closest thing ever to that was probably the duping what happened in RSC (Dylock) but that still wasn't even hacking.

Besides even IF you hacked RS right now, they'd just reset it to 7:06am this morning (their main pc auto takes a backup of databases which starts at 7:06am).

Closest you get is the duping back in the old days.

 

Alot of you are talking about glitches.. fally massacre was infact a glitch. The topic title was centerd on hacking of runescape.

 

As I posted, you could edit ur stats without using ANY bot.

Regedit then search for RuneScape, your characters stats where saved in an editable file which you could change, Jagex then changed this not so long after.

There was the falador massacre, other than that perhaps runescape hasn't been hacked. Runescape security is 100x better than what it used to be in rsc.
