How do I delete....

Well runescape is really laggy so I figured out i am going to delete every single file in my computer. But I got a problem...


1. How do i get started?

2.I got no start up disk

Not format files


like all the old files..junk...programs etc

you can help yourself by going to control pannel and then Add or Remove programs, and there delete all installed programs

i dont think that deleting programs would help you much, tho :/

 

Start > Run > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk CleanUp
Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs

 

start>run>%temp%
delete all files in there.
start>run>prefetch
delete all files in there also.
start>run>recent.
you get the point.

this should make ur computer super fast.

 

well if you want to reinstall your operating system you need the installation CD it came with your computer. If you cant find it borrow someones.

 

thats useless to do just run diskcleanup and it does it all for you. keep it simple

 

I suggest removing all the temp files atleast and disabling unnecessary programs from startup, updating the java runtimes might help as well.

could it be a bad thing if you remove temp files?

 

no temp files are images or streamed videos from online sometimes porn videos and viruses get dumped there and wreck your ocomputer
i no lots of viruses hide in the temp folder if you dont got an anti vir
