I'm inclined to say that the video is plain bullshit. All it does is stating facts about thermodynamics and the universe, and then "somehow" it all leads back to God? There's no elaborate explanations, and the video is based on a theorigical perspective, NOT scientific evidence.

Nobody knows exactly how the universe came to be, but The Big Bang Theory a lot more evidence for it than God. The 'CONDOR' telescope placed in the Atamaca desert has caught high frequency terahertz waves from the Big Bang. Tera means 100 billion, and the waves have gotten this name because that's about as many times as they swing up and down per second. I can explain more of this, if anyone even cares. =S

I agree with Son Goku. Nobody really cares about politics or religion. This is a Runescape cheating fourm. People want to come here for bots and cheats for Runescape and shouldnt have to worry about their religion being bombarded by stupid assumptions. I myself dont believe in god. Why you ask, simple, I havent seen "Him" yet.

 

I agree with the almost completely. The only thing I disagree with: "energy can not be created or destroyed." I would like to point out that energy can be destroyed in a nuclear reaction.

 

It doesn't actually prove God's existence.

First, the claim that "you cannot say that matter/energy has been around forever because it hasn't been proven" is erroneous. There are a thousand things and more in this world that haven't been proven (gravity, for one), yet we accept that they exist.

Second, matter and energy CANNOT BE CREATED OR DESTROYED. If there was an outside energy source, it would have to begin somewhere. There is no basis for an eternal energy outside the universe. Why should that exist?

Third, the movie argues that the complexity in the universe points to a higher intelligence. In actuality, highly complex systems can arise on their own from exceedingly simple rules. This has been demonstrated time and time again.

Fourth, do you know what intelligence is? It is general mental agility that is an evolutionary trait of some higher life forms. It is a survival advantage produced by interacting neurons in the brain. Why would this distinctly human trait be manifest outside the universe? Outside the universe, there is nothing. Not just empty space, simply nothing whatsoever.

Fifth, it says at the end that if I cannot accept that logic, I'm stubborn, and basically afraid of God. No, not really. I merely find its arguments based upon their lack of comprehension of how a universe can develop without external aid.
