Experienced blitzer help please.

Alright. So.
Just got 82 mage today. Technically, yesterday. Having BIG problems.
I can NOT, for the motherfucking life of me, figure out why I cannot hit.


This is what I wear. I am level 65 combat.

What I do is:
Pot up super str and super attack. Then, turn on 15% str prayer, hit the blitz button. Right click my opponent, hit use blitz on the person. Right click again, hit attack. When I get up to the person I almost always do not hit at all with blitz. If I do, it's NOTHING ever above 15. Ever. Anyway, run up, hit with gmaul, gmaul spec, and hope blitz works.
EVERY FUCKING TIME, blitz doesn't pull through for me. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I cannot figure it out, my mate cannot figure it out. Out of probably 500+ casts of blitz today I've gotten 4 ko's total.

My stats:
61 attack
73 strength
1 defense
64 hp
43 pray
46 range
82 mage
I have tried equipping a sapphire magic amulet and done blitz to no avail. I have tried different armor. I have tried anything and everything I can think of. What is it, that I am doing wrong? I will take a small video to show you guys exactly how I do it from start to finish in just about 10 minutes.
Someone with experience, PLEASE HELP.

Anyway. Don't comment on my pking style, etc. This video was mainly to show exactly how I do shit. So yeah, the first time I should of been able to ko that fucker, EASILY, the second time notice I didn't even hit?

I try to go get the god cape and I get fucking owned by this level 113. I asked him nicely to stop so I could get god cape and what the fuck does he do?

I finally figured out how to get my god cape and OH what do you know! IM SKULLED.
I get back to edge, don't even get to cast one blitz and I get 22-24'd.
Fuck this game, I'm done when I run out of money.

erm. id say it has nothing to do with your stats or what ur wearing. stop attking ppl that have a mage def bonus.

Also, you're obviously exaggerating, have you considered it could be
the victims magic defence bonus is sky high?

 

you cant own everything all the time, ppl have their bad days...

 

After you cast wait about 3-5 seconds then attack

 

Get any got cape from mage arena, get mithril gloves (not really necessary for blitz) if that dont helm get glory

 

ya get sara cape helps + id reccomend casting blitz twice before u gmaul...real fast...right in a row

 

Cast blitz then wait 2 seconds and then run up and attack. Wait for the blitz to hit and if it hits high, then g maul spec. If not dont spec.

 

Get your mage bonus a little higher by better items such as a glory, and also you just probobly had a bad day. I'm sure you'll do better next time .

it mite seem to last forever lol but it wont..
so just keep Goin, figure out what to change, increase ur lvls
and then keep tryin. it will pull thru

No but seriously, I needed to vent because I just seriously feel with all the hard work people put into the game they don't get what they want back. 82 mage is no joke, takes a LONG fucking time to get. I got 20 defense now, thinking about making my character a rune pure

At the moment though, mystic pwns.

 

idea .. why not bring a air or water staff with u and ur maul.. and asoon as u see someone blitz with staff? then swap to maul and k0... try it
