"Seen" private messages

Why go through all the trouble tho if u can have a little comment below the message saying seen or not....

 

Now see the thing is, people nowadays rarely even use PM's anymore. We cool kids have already moved on to much better communication methods such as MySpace and Yahoo Email. Implementing a feature like this would not only be a gargantuan effort but it would also be a great waste of time especially for the likes of @Sythe who has much more pressing matters to take care of such as taking out and thoroughly cleaning his bucket. No support from me.

 

It's literally just clicking on the person's profile. In that same line of thinking, why go through all the trouble of adding in this feature when you can just wait/check the last activity?

 

isnt there an option to hide your activity?

Also u could miss if they had seen or not if the other user clicks on another thread or does something else

 

I agree with this... However, if it is turned on by default, there should be an announcement to everyone so people actually know that this exists -- including those who don't want others to see read receipts.

 

Hidden Mode is available to donors, yes. It isn't the default setting however, and that would be a very specific instance in which this feature would be needed (assuming you decided to apply it). I don't see this being a common occurrence.

Yes it is possible, but these would be exceptions, not the norm. I don't see those reasons being compelling enough to implement this feature, unless its a really simple addition

 

Any updates on this @video @Astro @Sythe the sooner we add this the less stressful sythe will become

 

This is sythe you're not using it to detect when they've curved your shitty attempt to slide into DMs it's not that urgent
