I'm making a staker that's going to have 82 Magic and 11 Prayer with however much Hitpoints. He's probably going to have one of everything else besides requirements for Desert Treasure. I want some advice and tips on the development such as training places, what spells to use for training, and the best spells to use when staking with Ancients. I was reading Pyro 214's staking guide and he recommended Blood/Ice Blitz/Barrage, but I want some more detail.

    Thanks in advance,
    ~Remyx

(By the way, you can help me even further through my MSN, "[email protected]" if you want to.)

Honestly, my advice would be give up right now. Im sorry if im crushing your motivation but it will just be a waste of time and money. Virtually everyone in the duel arena is melee or range; melee wont stake you, range will own you badly. Beleive me I had a mage staker once, I dont play on the account anymore. I would advise a ranger or something.

However if you decide to make a mage staker anyway, it is best to cast zammy flames on the other mage then use the highest blood spell you can. If you manage to get a melee to fight you just use an ice spell. as for training, im not really to keen on that.

You must be crazy I made close to 50M mage staking alone.

What you do is if you know how to use obstacles which im not very good so I didn't use but you also go to non staking worlds and sometimes you can find lv 80 main nubs who are willing to stake you but you have to look them up and make sure the highest range is 40-50 and mage like 60. Just stake them 100k or whatever they want to and you can just blitz and own them.

Now when going mage against mage you have start by blitzing then move to ice or blood burst then blood blitz blood burst and just repeat.

I thought that if you were making a staker that you would want as much Hitpoints as possible?

True, your best off getting range up to 82 also, for the HP experience and if you can't find many duels with mage you can always roll onto the range side of staking.
