    Academic Assistance Section

Since school is starting or has already started in most parts of the U.S. I thought it would be a rather good idea to start a subsection in the Off Topic section of Sythe.org that would assisst people in matters regarding their homework or just something relating to academia.

When school starts many people will leave Sythe to concentrate on their studies. With this forum perhaps we can retain people who would otherwise quit to further their academic endeavours.

People using this subsection could post a hard Geometry problem they have and recieve help from people who already taken and are proficient in this class. They can also recieve feedback on essays which would help tremendously as you can often overlook some obvious things. People could offer cash or other rewards for help as an incentive but it might not be a good idea as it might not foster my idea of a place where people freely discuss and recieve help in matters relating to their studies.

This would help the community overall by keeping the amount of active users up because the users of this subsection would probably visit other sections of this site. In addition it would keep traffic up which would mean more ad revenue which means a better Sythe =]

This subforum could also become it's own section of Sythe if it becomes active enough and have it's own subforums for: Math, English, Science, History/Social Studies, & Other(for things like electives and other less prominent studies).

I would also like to suggest new ranks similiar to the programming ones. For example Math Expert, or Math Educator, or Math Teacher. These ranks would have no mod powers but are there just to let people know that these people have a sound understanding of certain or all subjects. If the administrators believe it is necessary then they can assign moderators with moderator's power to the Academic Assisstance section.

Nothing is set in stone yet so suggestions are more than welcome. For example you could suggest that instead of Academic Assisstance it should be called Homework Help but I believe that Academic Assisstance encompasses a broader range of topic such as people who aren't in school but would like to know how to speak English or learn basic Algebra etc

Thanks for reading this rather lengthy post. If you support please say so and attach a link to this thread in your signature since not many people read this section of Sythe.org

My apologies but I had to search through the Suggestions section. Your thread title was not very descreptive and nor was the idea. I will give you credit if you want it, but my idea also encompasses people who aren't in school and it gives sort of an outline of how to implement it.

I would also very much like your support.

    Much thanks and my apologies.

We are a Runescape cheating and black market forum. Not a tutoring website. Go elsewhere if you need help with school.
