Can we get a add skype text button?

Add my skype[Insert skype name here]

Can we get a button added which is like a skype icon or an S or something that auto generates this message on the bar or whatever:

It gets annoying posting on threads and having to copy/paste each time.

It basically when u click the button would pull up like a text box where it asks u the skype name u want them to add.

So like if I want someone selling rs07 to add my skype, I'd click the skype button(or S or whatever is chosen), it'd pull up a popup asking me what skype I'd like them to add, and then once I click submit or whatever it auto adds that code in a response.

basically it would let traders just put any skype in they want and auto generate html code or bb code or whatever which allows people to add skypes safely.

I think this would save me time from copying/pasting & it would help prevent impostor scams.

I know I would definitely use a tool that is literally 1 click & u type ur skype name & done.


I also don't think it'd be super difficult to code, its basically a pop up which generates that skype add bbcode with the text u typed in into the response/comments box on the thread. Obviously a mini icon would be made or added to the bar or whatever to trigger the pop up.


Idk, I was posting on 4-5 threads and thought how nice it would be if I didn't have to manually type the code or copy+ paste each time.

So get to ur point as to why we cant add a button which auto generates the add skype code or hatscripts code?

Your just going in circles, I want to speed up the button process & make it easier, its not a lot of heavy work to code as far as I know.

I want to click a button, enter my skype and have it pop out a nice skype button for my customers to use, whats wrong with that? Saves me typing & hunting a thread down, editing it, copying the code, then pasting it to 5 threads.

 

I like this tbh. We can add the skype button ourself but this would just be more convenient. I think this has been suggested before though and it got denied

 

I think ur thinking of the suggestion which had the skype button/icon attached to our actual profile that people could click.

That from what I remember isn't possible and was denied...? I don't think this has been denied before at least from what I know though.

what u have suggested is the same thing as creating and adding a skype button on ur own. implementing this would be a waste of development time.

its already a thing, unless you mean something else

 

A button which auto generates a textbox where u can enter a skype name and click submit or something and it auto generates that code with the skype name u entered so its literally click once, type the skype name, done, on unlimited threads.

It basically makes using a skype button & posting skypes much faster.

It also will make sure people stop saying add me on skype "skype here" and someone adds an impostor, instead u can literally create a safe button in 1 click.

This will cut down on impostor scams ALOT.

As long as it's not something too difficult to implement

Would be really nice if it could auto populate your skype using your sythe profile or remember what you recently used/entered

We already have a add skype code, we don't need another

 

Where do you guys see a button to add that code in with their skypes listed? My button is much easier to use and is 1 click.

I also cant find any button that inserts that code on the rich text editor, unless I missed it.

I see no button, the entire the point of the suggestion is to get a button so we don't have to type that add skype code out 10 times on threads, I took it a little farther and included having it where a text box opens where u can enter ur skype and it auto puts it into the add skype code because it seems like a nice quality of life thing to add in since they may be doing a button anyway.

 

I had no idea how to implement that, though I knew it existed. It should be added to the Rich Text editor at the very least.

The code is there and working, why not add it to the rich text editor for easy access?
