Not sure they're all that good, think the NFC North is just a joke.

 

This year makes no sense. Packers just dumpstered tf out of Seattle. What even

 

Earl thomas makes a huge difference on the back end of that defense is all i can say there, but i agree that this year makes no sense

 

Definitely hurts, but not enough to justify the Seahawks getting destroyed that badly. The Cowboys being 11-1 is weird, Raiders and Chiefs also gaudy records. Lions are 9-4. Just weird af lol. Panthers are awful after going 15-1. Weird, weird season.

 

im glad detroit's doing well though, they're always the team i bet on to make the playoffs. this year might pay off for me.

 

Pleasantly surprised with what the Lions have accomplished thus far. Seems like much of their success has been due to Stafford, not sure how they'll fair now with his recent injury

 

Of course the lions are this good after megatron retires..

 

Well the O-line, JBC and Zenner just cost us that game vs NYG so it looks like this may be 2013 all over again. Was fun while it lasted :')

 

@I Bleed Duke Blue I still think hes one of the most overrated QBs of all time. That being said, 24-17 Packers in two weeks

 

How? Without him this roster goes 3-13. Going into yesterday he led NFL in TD passes. I don't think he's been prime Rodgers since 2014 but his "Down" years in 2015 and 2016 still good for 31 tds 8 picks 32 tds 7 picks this year. Not his 45-6 output in 2011 but his team sucks, coaches suck, and defense sucks.

They also have a WR playing running back.

 

I'm not saying he's not great, but I hear him getting put into the GOAT conversation a lot and I don't think it's deserved. I often hear that a QBs performance in the playoffs is the best measuring stick for comparing him to other QBs and Rodgers' playoff numbers are just OK. He's had some of the best players to work with and he's put up incredible numbers (most notably in 2011) but I don't thinks hes the GOAT. His numbers are also trending downward since then. Idk, maybe I'm just tired of hearing Joe Buck suck him off during every game, regardless of whether the Packers are playing or not.

 

I've always thought playoff games usually the measuring stick of great teams more than great quarterbacks. Marino, Favre, and Manning lost a lot of big games too. Marino never won anything. Rodgers has usually had tons of weapons on offense, but the defense is always getting torched in big games. Just look at their playoff losses in Rodgers career, sometimes they lost games with ridiculous point amounts, like 45 not being enough vs Arizona. Or 31 in SF being only good enough to "only" lose by 2 tds. Pretty much if you go back and look at every Packers playoff loss, it's almost always the defenses fault, 2011 included. I feel like Brady and Montana are exceptions to the rule, not the norm. And those were top to bottom stacked teams. For example, defense got Brady the Super Bowl versus the Rams & Seahawks.

Every single OT loss in Rodgers career in playoffs except 1, against Arizona 2008 where they missed a blatant facemask on a fumble return TD to win, the defense has had to go out on the field first, and they've never gotten the stop. Seahawks NFC Title game, Cardinals last year, couldn't find a stop in 2013 3 pt loss to Niners, etc.

Disclaimer: I agree he isn't the GOAT and don't even think he's best Packers QB of all time. Just don't think it's his fault this Packers team hasn't turned into a dynasty.
