[Help] Good PC Gaming Monitors?

This topic is best suited for the Technology section. It's also a question I recently asked there myself. @n4n0 gave me a good option that I plan to buy when it's on sale and I'll pass that recommendation to you. Asus VG248QE

 

I personally own 3 of those 248QE's and they're amazing. @Andy Samberg one recommendation I have to you, is when you pick one up, check this out after: The old thread for "Just bought a Glorious Asus VG248QE Gaming Monitor even though people complained about washed out colors. These monitors use TN panels which are known for having "washed out" or "dull" colors. Following the instructions outlined in that reddit post, as well as a little tweaking of your own (everyone has their preference) you'll make the monitor pop!

 

Oh thanks! I have read about the screens having not so awesome color. I'll definitely check that link out for settings once I buy it.
