Spilled milk on carpet.

Approx. 10 minutes ago I spilled about 5 ounces of milk on a 2 foot square of carpet. I towled it and used fabreze. What do I do to keep it from smelling bad tommorow.

 

Well I always spill bodily fluid on my carpet and it smells mighty clean. But you should bleach your carpet, or rinse with a shitload of water.

 

What concentration of bleach and will it kill the color of the carpet?

 

no dont bleach it ever i tried that once it ate the carpet away. you can dilute the bleach maybe and try that

 

I'm going to get burned if it eats away my carpet.

 

mmm spilt milk on carpet, run down to the supermarket and buy one of those magic cloths if u have them in ur country, they like full soak up everything under the carpet aswell so theres no smell, or rent one of those carpet cleaners from some where.

 

It's 1:46 AM right now and the nearest supermarket is 18 miles away..........

I bleached it and used a steam vac. Hope that works.

 

Well I don't know much about cleaning, exept using a steam cleaner, but clean it up, and use febreeze. =]

 

Try spilling a full glass of cranberry juice all over a bright carpet.

Shit that was a mess...

 

I'm pretty sure the steam cleaner and fabreeze took care of it.

*pushes nose against carpet*

 

It's easy to keep something from smelling bad, just spray a ton of good smell stuff over it then leave a fan blowing on it.

it will nuetralize the enzymes so theirfor it will be the equivalent to water. just like people piss on jelly fish burns to get rid of the toxins.

Try hot water and or bleach.

 

DOnt we all love threads like these. All us Sythers comming togeather and solving ones personal problems. But yes the Steam vac and febreze shall make it go away

 

Call an airstrike on it, have them drop some jdam's on it. If theres no carpet there is no smell

Another option is a barrel roll. Try one.

Or you could just like you know...put some air freshener on it :\
