Quality of Community

The more I play this game the more I see how weak and rude the Runescape community is. It seems like ever since Runescape appeared on MiniClip all the little kids, morons, faggots, retards, and other dumb shits came to this game. It seems like wherever I go I am "stealing" somebody else's monster, rock, fish, or tree. Everyone is so damn greedy. Whenever I ask for some help I just get called a "noob". This game is shit. I liked it better when I was poor but the community was helpful. Now I'm rich and the community is shit.

 

Thats why I quit.

Joined a more mature community... Such as WoW. Soon to come Warhammer Online.

Runescape is just clearly horrible from its community.

 

This thread makes much sense. Dude, I just lost one of my best friends in the game because I wouldn't give him 300k. It's like you have to buy your friends these days.

 

Yep... all the little fag preteens playing the game ruined it.

 

I go to the library and a lot of people play runescape there and they're all 10 and 11 year olds.

 

Everyone is so uptight, because you don't have to earn anything int he game, you can just buy everything. You also have a bunch of word filters, which cannot be turned off. There is also not many groups of a recources by a bank. They have the willows in draynor, and that's like it.

I have to mine an ore in one city to go across the entire map to smith it in another city, then the anvil is on a totally other end.

Jagex just wants everyone to spend as much time as possible doing everything.

 

Yeah I was in the apple store and this kid was like 8-9 and was playing on one of the macs they had set up. I was like WTF lol.

I said it it started with Miniclip. I don't know what's happening now but the game is getting worse by the minute.

 

Yes, I agree there are complete retards int he regular game but thats why I always chose to play with community-centered clans. Most clans are very mature, helpful, and great people to play the game with.

As for ''stealing'' someone elses crab, the area is
in multi combat, so it's intended for the crabs to be
attacked by multiple people..

 

I sort of think it's just common courtesy not to attack another person's monster or mine the same rock as someone else.

Also I believe the community has gotten a lot worse since miniclip but it has been getting better. The 13 year olds have aged a bit and are more mature(just a tiny bit but noticeable nonetheless)In addition miniclip has taken runescape off it's mainpage so less 'kids' are joining.

That's just my opinion but maybe I am just getting used to it.

 

I gave up on the Rs community a while ago...Seems like some people make characters simply to piss actual players off and bash on everyone in-game. I just feel like there are some people out there that just try to ruin the game for everyone else...

 

They made multi combat for a reason, not so some noobs can whine about "honor" in a game.

 

The rs community isnt a good place to be tbh.

 

yeah the community in my opinion is very mixed and diverse there alot n00bs (not newbies) and theres retard lvl 3s who dont even like the game and just treat people liek shit then theres stuck up members who go inot f2p worlds to show off then theres forum noobs then theres normal people which is getting lower in numbers
