Well first off all im a level 122 and i fight all levels and I'm a great pker, if you want I can post my pk gallery for you Second of all I wasn't flaming anyone, im generalising when I say the idiots in the wild cause there are alot of them.

I'm just saying you should never ever lose your clue in the wild, here what you can do.

Here is what you bring:
Clue, Chart, Spade, sextant, Watch, 20 iron knives or any knives/darts
You kill the mage with the knives and dig, don't open the case.
Now if you run into pkers before or after digging up the case simply put prot melee and prot item on and drop your spade, thus protecting your Clue, Chart, Spade, sextant, Watch.
Also have the log screen open at all times and log when you see a white dot on the mini map and pick low populated worlds.
You should never open your case in wild and you should never lose your clue in wild.

People should stop complaining about pkers because I've killed many 1 itemers and found odd things on them, such as 23k fire runes etc. Never know what your gonna get, and if you do die you won't lose anything so get over it.
