Coinbase Bitcoin Purchasing Guide!

Guides about bitcoin should not include centralized exchanges. But people thrive on simplicity over security, so do as you wish....

My two cents: this is a very bad guide and a great way to lose your bitcoins.

 

centralized exchanges are easy to use and mostly used simply to upload funds and send them over directly to gold sites. This is how to purchase them, not how to keep them.

 

Do as you wish, you'll figure it out eventually.

 

many times when buyers set up an account at circle and they try sending some btc, it doesnt show up pending for me (while it does for them). After a while it gets canceled. If they try again after some days it does sent. Deff not instant anymore :/

Yeah, it's like the PayPal of the Bitcoin world. Really easy to understand and immune to chargebacks, of course.

Great guide for beginners, although I would completely abandon Circle and use the Blockchain wallet instead. Circle has so many disadvantages, I just can't comprehend why anyone would use that scummy site.

 

Is localbitcoins fine for sending to gold sellers? Does it work as a wallet?

It has a send option i believe
