Why Do We Fight Over OS's??

I am unsure why, but windows is the best.

 

Thats only because apple does not make servers, they use linux but that is because linux has the best servers, this has nothing to do with os systems. We all know every thing that Microsoft comes up with has problems for example take visa, every one says that xp is a lot better so it almost like Microsoft is moving back and not forward. And tell me when you have used a mac outside of school or in a showroom like bestbuy please.

Notice how most of the Apple owned domains are "unknown".

Microsoft runs their site on Windows Server operating systems. http://searchdns.netcraft.com/?host=microsoft.com&position=limited&lookup=Wait.. The only Linux servers they use are for their search and download pages, and Microsoft isn't the netblock owner for either of those pages.

Give me some examples of those problems.

I prefer, Win XP over Mac and Vista. Its all up to what you like.

Never said you did. This thread posed a question and I merely answered.

Basically, I mean that the Mac OS is nothing special. You can get similar OSs for free for the PC.

So are these "little programs" worth the time spent constantly running Windows apps through parallels VM?
And the interface... what is it? The skin? Like that cannot be changed. And the flexibility of KDE/Gnome interface is great!
There are simply very few reasons to why someone would need a Mac.

And MacOS and Linux never have problems?
Vista is new, it's not an XP update, even though people will say it probably has a majority of 3.1 coding still in it. That's just stupid. So like all new programs, it needs time to update perhaps.
