Insta permaban or 2-day ban?

When does an account get permaban and when does an account firstly get a warning (2day ban) before permabanning?
Personally I've only had permabans, but it were noob F2P accounts suicidebotted.

 

You usually get a 2day warning ban if you dont bot for gp. (eg agility) If you bot for goldfarming you get an insta permanban.

• Dont use a free script
• Use reflection/mirror mode on the bot clients
• Dont not for more than 5-6 hours on agility. Bot clicks for agility are very repeptetive and precise which makes it easy for jagex to detect.
• Dont bot if you already have a previous 2-day ban conviction.
• Dont bot during 9am-5pm GMT on weekdays. this is when mod weath is in the office and is banning bots.

Bot convictions are mostly delayed to prevent bit scripters from knowing where their antiban weakness is exactly. Your ban was probably due to you botting agility a day or 2 before and only now did weath decide to ban you.

 

I used a played script but suïcide botting it till 75 agility that's when the banhammer came. Just hopen it would be a 2day ban to move the loot to my muler but oh well doesnt matter to much

 

Agility by itself is a terrible money maker so id suggest using different methods for gold farming (if this is your intention)

Try not to suicide bot, especially so if its a p2p method. The gold earnt isnt really worth it plus the fact you need to spend 3m for a bond. Bot smart with p2p methods and suicide bot with f2p.

 

Also transfer all your loot at the end of every farming session and make sure to use a different proxy for you mule so it doesnt get banned as well

 

depends on the account if they see that its got alot of work put into it and a clean history you may get 2 days. If its a farely new account your prob looking at a perm ban

 

I got my first 2day ban. This happened on a account which I played 100% by hand and botted for a short time (powermining). Guess this guy is pretty accurate

 

If its a legit played account with some decent playtime, you have a chance of getting a 2 day ban. It can still be a perm tho. Botting fresh accounts will be perm for sure.

Some people made use of this difference. They would bot zulrah on legit played mains and sell them off again for like half price after a 2 day ban.

 

This is true. Sometimes Jagex gives a second chance to people that did it on mains with decent total level. I think they want to keep you because you're invested into the game and you didn't heavily bot. They permban accounts with low totals or gold farming account without batting an eye.

Still be careful while botting on legit played accounts, especially if youre goldfarming. Ive tried goldfarming on 'mains' before and have gotten some instant perma banned before while others have gotten off with just 2day bans. Always still bot smart, just because the account has lots of legit hours played doesnt mean you can get away botting 12hours a day

 

This is true. In 2013 I was permanently banned for gold farming on OSRS (on my first offense) even though I was botting Ankou's to train my melee stats with bones to peaches. Ankou's were once a place where gold was farmed because when Oldschool was released, there was very little room to make lots of money due to very little content.

 

I got permanently banned on a legit starter zerker within a few hours of using a paid script on a clean IP, wasn't gold farming either.
