Limiting Guests

I think we should limit the guest that are allowed in.

 

We could possibly block guests from entering any of the market sections. Still gotta keep the Dispute Section open to guests for ban appeals and stuff.

 

I say they should only be able to see the Dispute Forum and rules.. simple as that.

 

Then no one would join.

 

I say you should be able to access everything once, then if you tried coming back then you should either be redirected to www.sythe.org/register.php
or there should be a vBulletin message that says "If you wish to continue then you must register for an account on sythe.org
If you wish to do so, click here."
Or something like that.

 

Anybody agree?

 

Who cares? If they really want to see the full site then they'll join. Duh?

 

Restricting guest access would mean restricting Google's (and other search engine's) crawlers from browsing the site, meaning less revenue, meaning less chance of the site staying up. Sythe's new server is very expensive.

 

All you have to do is delete your cookies to come back.
