If any items are left on the account while you are staking and leave, you will receive a pm on sythe saying what items you are missing and have a week to get them back if in a weeks time they will become a fund going to sythe, this has happened once someone left items on account I did return them though

The bast way i found out is to wear pure stuff like robes: then say my rules and hope they do not put away armour, if they do put in all the stuff required towear a bow youll still have enough def. but uselly you wana stake str pures
