Staking

Hey guys

Im currently leveling up a staking account. I have never had a member account and my main is only lvl 80. I want a def pure staker. I want a low lvl one, like 50 or so cb lvl.

So I have some questions.

How high do I need his def? to 40? to 60? Higher?
How high should his attack be?
How high should his str be?
And what gear and weapons should I use?
What rules should I use?
And what are the quests that need to be done?

And if anyone has a good staking guide or anything realated to what Im trying to do here, I would love to read it.

Well everything you asked depends on what kind of staker you want. Tank ranger are most common with 40 def and 40+ range

The others is a barrows staker with usually 30+ str and 70 att n def.

 

i find that 70 def 70 - 80 att and 40 str works

 

yeah I dont want to be tank ranger. So 70 40 70? What gear and what rules should I use?

 

well for gear, BArrows. Veracs, torags, or dh.

Im not sure for rules though.

 

What about for a lower lvl one. like 40 def and atck or 60 def and atck

WTF @ that..

i suggest u get 70-40-70, it owns 5-?-70-99.

thats why defil3d never fights other barrows pures with whips.

 

I just have never been member before. I know there is barrow schest and stuff. I just dont know about the armor...

 

What about gloves? And defenders? Are those good to get?

Before you go staking, you should spend some more time in members, watch some staking videos/stakers. Do some research, there are many guides out there on staking etc.

 

I would get 70 attack, 35 strength, 70 defence, and maybe 41 mage. Also I would use veracs barrows armor with veracs flail. The rules should ALWAYS be armor on if you have veracs flail. Also NO prayer, food, pots, forfeit, and probabaly no movement. You don't really need any quests done for veracs armor so you shouldnt have to do any but i would recommend possibly doing lost city so you can possibly poison your enemy (ddp++) and then switch to flail and hit through their armor. That is my personal opinion on the kind of staker your making and feel free to pm me for any other questions.

do this
1. Get 50 some mage, while gaining hp!! hp is important for stakers
2. Do d slayer (for rune plate) (if u need help ask me i can guide u along the process with a low lv account doing d slayer)
3. Get 40 str and 50 def
4. Get 50 att
5. Go for 60 att, dont raise str !!!
6. 60 def
7. 70 att, get a whip
8. get 70 def
Then go buy full verac's (weapon included), and go to duel arena, remember to never raise your prayer, set the stakes to melee only, no pots or food, and use your att and def as a way to constintly hit, but never be hit, though u will hit low veracs makes there protection prayers useless so let them use it, and wear full rune before u enter a duel with a dragon weapon (long spear or dagger) and slip ur full veracs on when you start

note: as soon as your lv 40+ cb use pest control, its alot faster
