Sue them. I guarantee you can at least get your money back, plus whatever you lose for not working that day.

omg, we can tell your all American born cant we, something go wrong you're all "sue sue sue"

    a) if he agreed to the terms and conditions its his own fault
    b) why would you sue for $800 seriously, you guys have no concept of real life if you think that is alot of money to be suing for.
    c) if they are under investigation why would you be using them in the first place?

Therefore, you should READ what your accepting to in future. Sure that is wrong to take your money like that, but seriously if you go down that track to sue them, i can guarantee you will spend more money fighting them then you'll receive, but at least it will be a good life session for you :) & sorry for you loss.

It'll cost more than $800 to hire a lawyer so it's probably not worth it... Unless you sue them for the $800 along with fees incurred by you. In that case, if you lose, enjoy the lawyer bills!

Dont take it to court, bother them enough, keep calling and complaining, eventually they will send you somewhere

    Keep screenshots
    Printouts
    everything on hand, for evidence.

tell them you want to get to the bottom of this or some legal action will be taken. They will eventually tell you or crack.

If you sue, sue for more than $800 lmao,
    stop paying apartment/house bills, lol
    say
i was going to use that $800 towards the house
and you guys took it randomly, and now im houseless cuz my loan company reposesed it, dude
    thats like
more than $100,000 suage, for the loss of your money you put into your home, + yur $800 llmao

Haven't you read the first page? There is a quote where they state in their Terms And Conditions they cannot freeze an account without a reason. They could only set a limit. They froze it, so they have to provide a reason or unfreeze it.

Because of that, it WOULD be possible to sue. Especially when you hire a nice, bloodthirsty lawyer that will be able to come up with plenty of reasons why there are damages into the millions.
In the U.S. it's legal to hire a "free" lawyer. Such a lawyer will take on any case and will be paid in percentage of whatever he gets out of the case. In other words, if he fails, he gets nothing. It would make a nice last resort, and good means of threatening E-gold with negative publicity.
On top of that, you really can't lose anything hiring a "free" lawyer, it can only get better seeing as you already lost your money.

    sure for the following

    the $800 of course
    the lawyer fees
the amount of time the trial is costing you
not being able to use e-gold for your business (i think)

but sueing e-gold is like a regular dude sueing wal-mart or microsoft because they are big companies and have like the best lawyers out there lol

I called them again today. They said they had a court order to freeze my account. The lady would provide me with no explanation as to why the court order was filed. She also continuously told me to message them via email. However, on both my attempts to get information about my account, they just send me an automated email. I am considering at least calling some attorneys and seeing what they say.

good idea btw um how old are you?

i think you should always ask the person you call's name so info cuz if they say something than you can tell them who said it and blame them.

why did they say they locked your account again?

Court order? Hmm.. how would that happen? The only thing I can think of is Jagex? Yet I doubt that happened. I would try to figure out why a court order was filed and why. Sounds like a load of BS to me.
    Good luck m8

Some people don't make 800$ A MONTH. Stop taking everything for fucking granted - $800 is A LOT OF MONEY. Some people can't afford food and even water. Did you know $10 can save an entire family in Africa?

In fact, I can guarantee you that if you, or your parents, made less than $1000 a month you wouldn't have a hissy fit and say that "800$ is not a lot of money".

Actually, PayPal is very good. It isn't, however, intended to be used by idiotic 12-year-olds that buy and sell pixels in online games.
