Female President

I really don't think it makes a difference

 

I think to make such hype over gender is pathetic.

Intelligence, compassion, foresight - this is that it takes to be a leader. No mention of bodily parts!

 

Does it matter? America is already screwed up....politicians don't care about the little people as long as they (politicians) are living real clean.

 

Arrogant kids don't make it any easier to change the supposedly "ruined" America. Women and men would do well alike, just depends on who it is, not the gender. Hillary Clinton isn't doing very well, representing the American women, but neither is President Bush. Hillary has experience, but she doesn't have good execution.

 

She better have good legs ahahaha...

But umm yea, it'd probally mean more Time to think, get it right. Rather then rushing...

I agree with puresystem, although, if there was a female president in the beginning, there wouldn't have been a "War on Terror" and all..

 

Well, some wars are meant to be fought however. Once can only decide if it was worth the effort to fight after it is over, and as such if there was a female president in the begining of WWII chances are there wouldn't have been a draft, nor would the US have fought and that wouldn't have turned out so good. Why shouldn't we have a war or terror? Shouldn't we be doing our job to protect our country against possible threats to the safety of our people?
Anyways I think that a female president could be good for the country if she is a good person. I think that if Hillary was declared president, it would purely be because many people think that the Republican party is bad for the US just because of one recent president who didn't do as best he could have in office. And I don't believe that she will be the best person to run our country. I also don't think that the party necesarily has any difference as long as the person has good characteristics.

I seriously doubt there's going to be a female president in America anytime soon. People are too prejudiced to elect one, that's been demonstrated time and time again in studies. An extreme situation would be required for a female candidate to be voted in. Margaret Thatcher was only voted into power in the UK because but because the opposition was so unpopular, for example.

For as how the US would fare under a female president, well, that'd depend entirely upon what political leanings that president had. Gender wouldn't really come into it; the president is only the figurehead, the Administration wield the real power.

 

i have nothing aginst female presedents but hillary justs wants to be the first woman presdent and thats it.. she dosent want to help are community... i belive some one else should be presedint

are you that much of an idiot? England is not even run by the queen. The royal family is basically just for show now anyway. They run their country sorta like the USA now I think.

i dont see why not, it would probly be alot less deadly than most of the male presidents through out history, but then again look at margaret thatcher....

ok we should go fight a war on terror against people who didnt attack us and infringe upon their own safety to save our asses? at what point does a humans life become important enough to consider? or is it just imperative that the human be american?

i think a lot of you are being stupid about this. not to insult you, but come on. women are DIFFERENT. yea maybe theyd be patient, pacifist, and great cooks. OR maybe theyd be just as stupid as george bush. the sex doesnt matter because you can never assume how someone will run a country based on gender alone. i mean, you can get a guy who will crawl under the bed at the sound of a gunshot, or you could get someone like my mom that could kick your ass in 5 seconds. its the person that makes the difference.

 

in some respects it would be more fair as there would be differnet laws, because of there being an american president as a male so long
