How long will Runescape last

If its going to end it will slowly die and they would get rid of more and more severs until they decide that only people paying them can play and then ban everyone that has not played in a while like RSC... then so few people would play it would just close down one day...

 

for a long time hopfully. mabey one day it will end up being one of those old classics like pacman or space in vaders lol..

i think it will last like maybe 6 years, but better games will come out, and people will switch.

Thing about rs is the game play is too addicting. It grabs too many young people. personally i have wasted 5 years from classic. regret it now. all the time wasted ahh.. if they decided to improve graphics i would say it would last about 5-10 years.

 

You really never know!. Maybe when andrew is done with it. hell sell it for cash? but idk.

 

i'd say 10 - 15 years, after that, autos will take over and no-one decent will play

Runescape is based on medival times, and dragons and mythical creatures etc. They won't add cars and shit, because if they do nobody will play because their are tons of games better than that.

 

It will last for another 10 years...

Their economy is going slower cause 6 year or so to get 1million users.. 04-May-2007 was the date....

Some suggestions to them is open a RSGP Selling website and pretend that it isn't theirs and sell from there... so they could earn huge $$$ and will not be caught... Also they can ban users who buy from it...

Their wouldn't be cars because it is hard to see if it has a small screen... and we might crash and die...

i think it will last a while becuase ithink they will upgrade the levels so u can get ubove elvel 99 str and other stats

 

people already have hard enough time as it is to get 99 why add more?

 

I think if they continue to try to cater to everyone and make a game that can be playable by everybody, then eventually there will not be enough content for individuals who like to play because it was it's own game. If they cut down their profits and tailored it more personally like it was before rs2, they would have more loyal players. This will never happen because they would lose money so I would give it another 10 years before it becomes far too generic to really have anything original to offer.

Only gave it that long because many people didn't think it would last as long as it already has.
