nah, heavy metal is constant screaming with a little singing, hard rock is metallica style music. grindcore is indistinguishable screaming where the lead singers' voice(s) change from a screech to a howl-like sound much like job for a cowboy.

 

I don't like most metal rock because the singers in the bands are just screaming and it looks like they have no singing talent.
