Youtube..posting a video?

Okay,This might be off topic from this section but I don't know where else to post.I used hypercam 2 then I use camtasia,It let's me upload the vid and then it says invalid file format,Can someone please help me.I will vouch after I see it works.

 

what video format is yours .avi? .mov? what format are you using because the one you're using well isn't valid

well when you export from camtasia choose a different format .avi or .mov or something else because youtube doesnt support .camtec for sure. Think of it this way if you gave me the file right now i wouldnt be able to play it withought downloading extra software.

Download a converter to convert. Your camera shouldve come with a disk that has a converter.

 

i dont think there is a converter to convert .camtec thats for sure when you export save as a different format if camtasia is a screen recording software then under video prefrences or something along those lines set it to be .avi

 

Yea I used camtasia for alll my recordings just right click your camrac file and there should be an option thats says extract...this will convert your video into avi format.

.wmv? thats what i use hypercam automatically sets to wmv for me?

 

lol do u have windows movie maker??? after u finish makign a movie with hyper cam.. save it too ur documents or somewhere u know that u will find it... then if u have windows movie make impost media after u open window movie maker... import the vid then import music if you want the go to file and publish movie then when its published it will be a wmv which is allowed on youtube.....
