Staff/CDT using their feelings instead of rules to make decisions

Not keen on the personal vendetta Sonia had against me. Believe I was disqualified for expressing my opinion that people should vote for mootrucks story. Now I'd understand that if there was a clear rule against it but there just wasn't. Improvements need to be made , we can't let this childish behaviour go on. That is if we actually want participation in cdt events.

 

The fact that @Scotty isn't temp banned yet for infraction buildup is the real question.

 

Minirank event: voted on by community
Pumpkin event: voted on by staff & CDT, but I assure you no one in CDT is winning that
Maze event: first to finish
Story: voted on by community

How would they get rigged? The bts would have no effect. The hassle rn isn't about CDT participating in its own events.

 

I agree that improvements need to be made and we're working on it I assure you.

The issue was that some members thought it was unfair to promote a story, and I agree. Why not let people just read the stories themselves & decide? Your opinion could have easily been, "I voted #x because..."

 

Story was actually voted on by CDT / Staff first, and the worst event / most annoying / dumbest thing that caused me not to be entered in the funrank even isn't mentioned there. The finding of images in threads. That awful event is the reason I'm not winning my funrank =/.

That said, the norm is people who organize events usually aren't eligible for prizes in the real world - but this is a website so I really don't care. I just wish CDT members could have been forced to find those images in threads so they'd know what it was like.

 

Not really voted on, more of a review to make sure they met the requirements & a few didn't.

I also forgot to list the hunt but it still applies: first to finish (rather, first few)

I participated in the event and it wasn't even that bad especially after the clues were given.

 

Members from any of the teams should not be getting prizes from any of the competitions.

 

I made posts in an unofficial sythe discord that is to be treat like spam forum and I was disqualified for posting there? I voted for moo's because I enjoyed it and there was no reason to believe I didn't from the post I made in the thread. If your going to take the things people say in discord as gospel then don't use it ? Many of the users who's stories were actually in there posted comments that were hinting that people should vote for there's. If you're going to make a decision as cdt leader make sure it's not bias.

 

There has been a Skype chat made which is promoting the removal of Sonia by a bunch of low life circlejerkers who started this drama haha

 

I do agree, but this is just a website and it doesn't really matter that much. Richard can take this website down any day and it would not matter. I was stating that I don't mind if they get fair access to the prizes, but obviously some CDT members had to have come up with the events, such as the image event, so how does that person get an entry into the raffle? It should have at least been participation in 4/5 of the events (MineCraft excluded because that one failed?)

 

Strongly disagree. At the end of the day, you're a community memeber as well. No reason to alienate yourself from a competition that is open to the community. This only applies to competitions where being in these teams doesn't give you an advantage obviously.

These "low life circlejerkers" are some of the few remaining community members outside of staff and the three teams. What a plesant way to refer to those who you spend your time "developing the community" for.

 

I thought the comment was made in a post, I was unaware that it was over Discord.

Sonia was the one who put the images everywhere, alone. She got participation because she hid them and then made clues to help everyone, which also included rhymes so it's not like they were two second clues.

 

I have been on my phone this whole time but tomorrow I am going to contact each one of the baiting members on this thread to have a chat with them. Thank you and goodnight.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but keep the name calling out of the thread, the few posts I've deleted are insulting people for the "fun" of it.

I'm going to infract people if they decide adding a random insult to their opinion is something needed.
At the end of the day, we want to do what's best for the community and randomly calling someone a retard is not helping.

 

Holy frick. So... I just read this feedback thread. I don't blame anyone and I don't wanna be rude or anything. But here's my input. It is unfortunate this has happened. Even for myself as I am rejoining the community, expecting to see higher ranks be respectful and show and demonstrate the community a good role model. I want to suggest maybe talking to him about his issues and try to resolve it one way or another. I've taken CPI training so I kinda know there's no last resort unless everyone has bailed out. So if you guys aren't going to give up, at least try and get the message to him that it isn't ok to act like this. However on the other hand I feel like he needs a consequence if it is necessary. That's up to the staff though, not me. Another point of mine is I would like to ask how did he even become that staff member of CDT? I feel like either the leader or a manager/co-leader should be responsible as he embarrassed the CDT group itself and showed a bad example of it under their terms/eyes. That is all I wish to say and will look forward to how this gets resolved.

I know what you are saying. But since you're here. I want to know why everyone is fed up with you right now. It doesn't build up for me with that response. :S

 

They are trolling the team, I was added to a Skype chat where they were all discussing how I chose the wrong buddies and basically they wanted to cause trouble and bait me. Moreover they want to usurp the current leader so they targetted me in a way which would make the leaders position in jeopardy.

I.e it's a game to them and they want me kicked because they want a #reshuffle

 

Tbh, I think I'm just gunna leave it up to the staff. I don't wanna pick sides nor do anything about it because I may get infracted.
