Actually mine was in RS3. Everyone here is entitled to their own opinion though. It's not uncommon for names to receive price checks with a large range. I've appraised names for 500m people say are worth 200m and vice versa. A lot factors into a name's appraisal on the appraiser's side; perspective, experience, bias, etc. And you'd think that would be true, KissyKat, regarding the higher quantity of number receiving a higher quantity PC like Billion > Million and I agree with the exception of Thousand.

 

I totally agree on names having a large variance in pricing. There are way too many facets to consider on both sides (the buyer and seller)

Also agree strongly that people are entitled to opinions.

Off topic a litte: It's a pity that there are tons of retards/evaders/new people who don't bother reading the OP and the stickied posts regarding general rules, tid bits and guidelines. It would make this thread and subsection of the forum much easier and pleasant to keep up with.

 

Dunworry was the only Mod who who really cared about Name Sales as he build one of his biggest businesses here if not the biggest but since his absence the section has gone sort of neglected. Astro does a decent job though but he's only one person. Most if not all of the other Mods have minimal to no knowledge about the name selling business and how complex/sensitive it is. I don't blame them. It's not their job to know the ins and outs of EVERY business on Sythe.

Honestly miss Dunworry a lot he was a really great mod, especially for this section. Name sales really depended on him and I don't understand why people keep posting their worthless names in this thread grasping for some money it's very frustrating to read through all the lavapker35's to get to the good shit.

I'm gonna scale these up btw cause the prices would fluctuate ever so slightly with hardcore ironman mode coming out on 2007, and the fact that irons tend to pay highly for things for their account from their mains if they can e.g torsos etc (can't quote you Mellow I'm on my phone)

UIM - 30m 07. Idk I understand the initials are good and they mean something but I'm just really not keen I can't explain why, personally. I know people would pay a lot more for this probably

Iron - 400m 07+ easily as people would pay for it off their mains and it covers all the game modes. Also is involved in the smithing skill and is just a rly good word in the context of rs

IM - 200m 07+ I don't relate this to ironman mode in any way I just think it's a really amazing two letter with meaning and you could get a lot for it
