hmm thats a very odd problem possibly a virus try adaware if you dont already have a antivirus program.

What program does it say to install?

 

shakaka i gtg but ill be back on in 1hour-1.5hours have to study for A+. find some that your intrested in and post em ill tell ya if its good.

Check how much RAM you have in your computer now you may be able to put it in the new 1. Right click my computer properties 2. Under computer it should say how many MB of RAM you have

Ah yes, this is a common issue.

The first thing you should try is re-install the application and remember not to choose the "This feature will be installed when required" for any of the optional components.

If that doesn't work, try going to Start>Run>Type "gpedit.msc" to open the Group Policy Editor. (If the file is missing, run mmc.exe instead. Then, select Add/Remove Snap-in from the Console menu, click Add, and double-click Group Policy. ClickFinish, then Close, thenOk.)

Once in the Group Policy Editor, expand these branches:
Local Computer Policy \ Computer Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Windows Installer

To your right, double-click "Disable Windows Installer". Click Enabled, and choose Always from the list. Click Ok when you're done.

Hopefully that'll do it.
