New Rune Pure Progress Thread

I had a maxed main I sold awhile back on here that I did slayer constantly on. I'm just fed up with slayerscape now it's not enjoyable in the slightest to me nowadays. I might get it up a little bit on the pure like 55 or something just to make it look a little nicer. Also a kbd slay helm on the piety acc would be cool as well but gonna mostly stick to basic training on these accounts

It would take around 20 hours more of chinning. I could've easily knocked it out this weekend but I'm not one of those guys that grinds skills out for hours straight so I'll be getting it slowly. I probably won't have it done for another few weeks.

 

Well you're already half way there to range cape. I just got b gloves at low 60s cmb what a relief lol.

I haven't dug through all pages, just the first and last so I'm sorry if it's in there. When did you start chinning and how long did it take? I plan on starting reds at 80 range although I'm not sure how many to get... also, how do you feel about NMZ for melee?

I cannoned at caged ogres until 75 range then I've been chinning since. I believe it took me around 25-30 hours of in-game play time chinning from 75-94 range. With 94 range right now I get 260k+ xp/hr. At 94 range i get around 160-170k xp per 1k chins. 80 range would probly be more around 120-130k xp per 1k chins so just calc that out with current chin prices to figure out how many you'll need.

I'd recommend NMZ for melee if you have pray the only reason I don't use it is because I'm only 13 pray on the pure.

Created a new Rune Pure myself
I'm also looking at whether or not to stay 13 prayer.
I believe I will keep him low prayer for awhile, but then will eventually get him overheads so I can brid on him.

Thanks man I'm not a bridder in the slightest but I've had a few no overhead accounts now so they don't feel as cool anymore and prayer just makes everything so much easier. I may keep this one 16 prayer tho and go for a kq slay helm (tough) and pk in that which would be cool. Send me a pm of ur ign I'll add ya
