How long do you play per day?

So.. I'm just getting back in to the swing of OSRS..

Played RS for around 10 years now. Started with RS2, but I did dabble with Classic back in the day (I've since lost or sold that acct.) But my favorite has always been RS2 or OSRS.

Now, I was in junior high/high school when I started playing, and I remember nights of many energy drinks and burning while pking, skilling, whatever. Now I'm in the real world, and work 40+ hours a week, while in university, and am having a harder time finding time here and there to play. I'll purchase bonds, and next thing I know mems will run out and I logged in twice.

So, I wanted to ask everyone, for curiosity's sake,

how many hours do you play per day? how often per week?

 

used to play 3/4 hours when I was maxing, fortunately 0 nowadays

 

A year ago I was playing 6-10 hrs a day. Now since I have a job and school maybe an hour day if I get time to play. Miss being able to play so much :/

 

Like 1-2 on average.

OK. It's looking to be about what I expected so far.

Now, how do you spend that time then? I didn't specify very well originally, is most of that time spent surfing the forums and AFKing? Or is that purely time spent in-game?

Are there certain routines you follow in order to maximize xp/profit?

For whatever reason I'm extremely curious all of the sudden about how people spend their time in-game. Appreciate all the responses thus far as well!!

Lol hell yeah. Love the dedication. So for those of you who are like 6, 8, 10 hour/day players, how do you fit that in? Do you work certain days of the week? are you younger and not working yet? or are you able to play at work?

I know why I used to be able to play 24/7 but I'm curious to see how others fit in gaming time.

 

I play 5-6 hours a day on school days after school, then maybe 7-8 on weekends less if i make plans

About 3 hours, and then I leave my bots to bot.

 

I only login to sell and buy gold. So 20 hours a day

 

3-4 just because I dont have as much free time as I used to have before.

 

When I actually have something to do on rs (say services, work on my own goals) I play like 7-8 hours on a normal day and 10 in the weekend. I work shifts though so it also depends what hours I work.

 

All day on my days off.

I work rotations. 7 on 7 off.

Works out well.

 

Used to smash out about 4 hours just skilling/bank standing
7 hours if i'd PvM in CC
Now i usually bot my accounts unless I am doing a service
