how do people get the special "names" under their username

for most people the "name" i am speaking of is the one that says. leecher, member, etc. I've seen some people with different ones. It seems like mostly mods and admins but whats the secret?

 

it changes when you post more and more...and if you donate or are a mod or admin or a MM you get a special "name" also

 

Yeah, people who are awesome, or moderators, can have their rank changed. Don't ask for it, though, that makes you "unawesome".

You must do something significant. I deserve veteran because I have been here since the very end of RuneCMS and then was one of the first to join sythe. First 2,500 that is. Or at least my uber noob rank back.

You can edit it i think if your a mod.

 

Only admins can do the actual editing, but mods are really the only ones who are supposed to have it changed. All the others must be special I guess.
