Why religious science and compulsory religious school courses are BULLSHIT!!

I first will start off with Religious Science, Which is by all means an oxymoron. To Start of with this, we must look at the methods of religion and science.

Science starts an experiment to prove something, you run a minimum of 5 tests with 3 trials per test, you gather information about what occurred during the tests, write a conclusion and it will either confirm something is false or confirm something is true. Science starts with the conclusions that something is FALSE until it is proven to be TRUE.

Now on to Religion, Religion is believing in a person, place or thing, created or assisted in said creation of the universe we know. Anything said by this person, place or thing is deemed true until HE proves or says otherwise. Most of the creators have never been seen by a person. All who do not follow this religion will suffer the consequences after death.

Now you can see the very principles are conflicting opposites. Making the science of religion an oxymoron. Why would people believe in something that isn't proven to be true? Seems quite illogical to me. However lets continue on,

The first law of thermodynamics says that energy (which is describing matter) cannot be created or destroyed, but it can change forms and the amount of energy in the universe is a constant value. Now this flaws religions whole concept of a greater being creating the world. Nevertheless lets interpret "Creation" as them being massive energy convertors which formed the universe we know.

As we all know the planet is massive in our eyes, the be able to convert so much matter into the exact sequence needed to form the universe would be amazing. The problem is, they would need alot of energy to convert the matter into the advanced carbons structures and gold and other such things that exist in this universe. The convertor would need to use ALL of its energy to create a massive universe. And after converting it, would render it unable to do anything else.

Now enough about religious science, Lets move on to compulsory religion classes (CRC) this deals only with PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Living in the USA or Canada allows you the right to be able to believe in any religion you wish. CRC would be placing a religion upon students, which is a violation of their right.

If anything to that matter was passed for a school board many people could sue the school board for violating their right to free belief. This would cost the schools more money, and you get the vicious cycles. What don't these fucking religious parents get about not everyone believes in their religion.

Funny that they actually believe that they can all lobby for creation science and shit like that and it will actually happen, WHEN CREATION SCIENCE IS AN OXYMORON. They lobby for such too like having stickers set in science books saying that evolution is only a theory, well it may be true, but SCIENCE IS NOT RELIGION. CREATIONISM IS NOT THE PROVEN WAY WE CAME TO BE. So why doesn't anyone who is religious, come and prove their religious science? Show proof that there were these energy convertors? Because there isn't a single shred of evidence. There is a whole lot of proof that we came from evolutions as we have evidence of EXTINCT HUMANIODS THAT ARE RELATED CLOSELY TO US. Now religious science and CRC are just bullshit.

Well said, however I dont entirely agree. You said that energy can't be lost, only converted. But then you went on to say that the conversion of energy into our universe would require huge amounts of energy. Now if I misunderstood and you meant there would have to be a lot of energy into the first place to make our universe I apologize, but in that case we are talking about the universe, who knows how astronimcally big the numbers could be? Maybe that is where the religion comes in..

Exactly, I mean thats where there end of the debate stops. Then they go back to asking the same 3 questions like. Can god create a boulder he can not move? Thats like asking "if a tree falls and nobody is around to hear it does it make a noise?". I bet he can, but its like in a sense he cannot but in his "god mode"...lol he can.

All that article proves is that the universe wasn't here forever, and that matter isn't eternal. It did NOT, at any point prove the existence of a God.

By the way, most Atheists accept that the universe and matter aren't eternal...

LMAO, Thats what you and dpunk have been arguing with me the whole time. That the gay thermal dynamics proves that its always been here so god couldn't have made it since its been here forever.

There's a refutation of that article somewhere, as I've read it before, but I can't seem to find it. I know there was one on the second law of thermodynamics.

edit: Anyway I think all that deals with is the Big Bang/Crunch Theory. If I read it right it doesn't refute the Big Bang Theory alone, as if its true the universe will just end up in heat death after billions of years.

This article deals with the argument

It argues the point that the universe has always been here. If it was not always here where did everything come from? all the chemicals, planets, stars, moons, where did it all begin? There had to be a beginning so what made it because thats before the chemicals where there or anything...lol you cant just get something out of nothing, unless your all powerful. God is all powerful = He made it all.

God says he created the heavens and earth. Heavens doesn't exactly mean the universe. You should never take the bible seriously. Also, as a atheist, you can't say the universe had a beginning. Because from nothing can coming. Therefore the universe was always there. And the universe will always, always be here. So, in theory, since the universe is immortal, and the universe is everything....we are immortal?

Did you even read the article from the link I gave? No it pretty much proves that the universe has not always been here.

Fallen soul, your article doesn't prove anything, it just finds that the universe came from something. It doesn't have to be a god, it could be some sort of mass energy transference like I said earlier. And besides care to answer about the errors in your so called legitimate article?

About the CRC's, Public schools don't have them, only the Catholic school board, and it's your decision to go.

No, we've been arguing with you because you ignore reason, something that clearly irritates both of us. Or we just want more converts. One of those...
