People complaining about Sythe MM's

Well its a good thing I mm at least once a day lol. But still I think people should stop complaining about it because they would be doing the exact same thing. People don't understand that while they are bitching to us about us not mming for then there are 3 more people asking us to mm also.

We can only do 1 at a time if we are even mming at that moment. Be patient and wait or try and find someone else.

 

I mm almost every trade worth the time required. Except matthew, there are TOO many smaller trades which don't really warrant an official mm for example pins, or 500k trades or 2m trades etc, thats where most of the complaints come from. There is almost always an mm willing to if he or she is not busy and the trade is decent.

 

True that, I charge 500k fee for pins just so less people ask me. Then I just decline the small trades, I mean who needs a MM for a 400k for a account trade? Who would get themself banned for that. Its just a waste of time or just use someone who is trying to do their application.

Tilt is right when he says that the complaints come from there also, most of the time when I decline those small trades they say I'm reporting you on sythe. I just don't understand it lol.

For some people even if you refer someone who is almost done their application they are to stubborn and wont take it. Then they accuse them of trying to scam or they will scam ect. Some people are just completely negative, no matter how hard you try and help they will still act immature and be stubborn.
But I will almost always mm a trade if it is 10m+ since its actually worth the time, because usually I'm doing something else which I'm sure allot of MMs are also.

I think Conman3030 said it very well. I think some people need to MM more, and I would even include myself in this group. I could MM more than I currently do, although some MMs have restrictions that you don't have a clue about.

For one, my computer always has and always will until I get a new computer freeze when I go on RS. It didn't use to be a huge problem, but lately, I can barely even finish loading the game before it freezes.

Then, I do MM, and I'm sure there are some people who have had this happen, where I freeze. Then they say, OH NOES, they scammed me, when really, I come back less than 3 minutes later after I restart.

So, as you can see, recently, I have been restricted down to barely doing trades at all. I am getting a new computer very soon, and after that, I can assure you I will be on a lot more than I currently am.

Last but not least, I know this will raise some bitterness, but, it's the honest truth. This should be put into the exact same affect on all globals and sectional mods aswell.

Thier should be a "Junior" Official MM or something, made specificity for Those people who like to mm on sythe, and have been around for a while. If your were a Jr. MM thier should be something like, you can only mm 10m trades or lower or something. then Jr. mm's after a while should be advanced into a Sr. MM like pen,matthew,full_tilt,conman,wow sucks,boom, ect.. Idk its late and im throwing ideas around, but yeah im sure its quiet annoying for you mm's.

 

Thats the whole reason why I quit MMing.

 

I agree with you Conman3030, though perhaps there could be a more formal matter taken to deal with this.

I mean, perhaps rather than the qualifications for become an official MM be simply gaining the trust and respect from doing the lengthy application process, but also having to maintain a consistent amount of MMs per day/week/fortnight. The records would be very simple to set up and could simply consist of a thread in your private forum.

I can't say I would be the one to set the quota of what you guys would have to keep up with, but obviously if you were to go on holidays or be away you would not have to do MMs for that period, but this way we could make sure that the MMs we have are up to par.

And for those of you thinking, "you can't make themMM trades, they don't have to MM if they don't wish" well you're totally right. We certainly can't make you MMs do what you need to do, but if you wish to maintain the rank of being an "Official" here on Sythe then there should have to meet a standard that demands you are actually earning the right to be considered what you are here. Don't forget, by Sythe giving the MMs their rank, we are providing them with a rather nice money-making method, especially those of higher fees.

Any thoughs? But I think it'd be a good idea.

 

Completely agree, I stopped a while now MMing, I had lots of request (though I wasn't official) and it was exam's time..people kept asking me and adding me into conversations while I was studying.


I mean, HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR MMs AND DON'T THREAT THEM LIKE SHIT WHEN THEY SAY NO...

The misconception many people get when logging onto Sythe is that they are doing people a favour asking them to MM. Because there's so many people who are desperate to MM and gain trust quickly, the public thinks that everyone is like this. However, people that are already trusted really don't gain anything from MMing (other than maybe the fee). I have people ask me to MM very often, and they seem surprised when I tell them no.

I really do agree that more Trusted Non-Official MM's should be used. Especially in PIN trades, and all other trades under 5M. I mean, there are so many kids who demand Official MM's for small trades. I can understand why people will only use Officials for big trades, but the ones that are such pussies that they won't use a trusted MM for a 1M trade really shouldn't even be trading.

 

Yeah, but the thing is i hate doing pin trades. I mean, i'm sure if someone has over 100 posts or has been here for over a month isn't going to scam over a pin.

I have a life to. I can't mm for everyone that asks, i would be mm'ing all day.

 

when i have a trade i almost always use a highly trusted mm because officials aren't on for me but it doesn't both me using none official but officials are nice since they know what they are doing.
