Barrows pure, or 60 att 75+ str?

Hello, i'm currently training up a new pure mostly for duelling and I was wondering, should I get 60 att, 75+ strength and stay 1 defence, or make a barrows staker, and have 70-75 attack, 35-40 strength and 70 defence?

I'm leaning towards a barrows staker, as it would allow me to do other (combat) related things, like barrows and other low to mid level monsters (Giant Mole killing, etc). However, I don't know if they own as much.

Personally, I think they would as a lot of people are starting to go 40 defence and such.

Anyway, whilst staking I would probably use full Torags + DDS (Special only ), or perhaps Torags for fighitng other Barrows stakers.

With a 1 def account, I'd just dds and then pull out a dlong (I don't think I could do MM with 1 prayer) at 75 strength. When I hit 80 to 85 strength i'd upgrade to 70 att and use a whip + dds./

So, what do you guys think I should do?


P.S. Currently, my stats are as follows
Attack: 39
Strength: 32
Def: 1
HP: 30 something. Not logged in at the moment.

 

I like 60 attack tbh, won 10m with mine.

 

Yeah, 1 defence'ers do tend to do quite nicely, but they take awhile to train. Before I'd realy start to own, I'd need at least 80-85 strength. Not to mention having to run back and forth from the rockcrabs to restock on food.

So, i'm thinking on 70 att, 32-50 strength, 70 defence. That way I can probably train a little faster due to not having to use every 3 minutes. Also, i've never made a Barrows pure.... So, I'm almost positive I'm going to make one now.

 

70-35-70 torag with whip and dds, own the shit out of everyone
