Caution To All Traders!!!!

A new msn script is out that allows users to use their msn comment to completely bump their real email address off the convo screen, making them seem like another email. MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS GET STAFF TO PM (when trading, if you ask for a pm out of the blue don't be surprised if they say no) YOU OTHERWISE YOU ARE TAKING THE RISK ITS NOT THEM. Also Zarrox some kid who scammed here, claims he will get back at the staff who got him banned. While his kiddie threats won't last long, IF YOU WANT TO TRADE WITH STAFF MEMBERS, BE SURE TO HAVE THEM PM YOU. DON'T TAKE ANY EXCUSES WHY THEY CANT.

 

Nice. Moreover if for any reason sythe goes down, you can always join the irc and we can vouch if that person is real. my making them join the irc, if there really staff they will have ops.

Good thing we found out about this before some one got scammed, nice find and you can never be safe trading with msn always use the pm system first.

Theres already been a few people doing this, I know the one Annex impostor has been doing this, and yeah the only way is to have them added and then hover over their msn in the msn contact list. So you can see their real msn or ask for a pm which you should be doing anyways.

 

if you want to know their real email just right click their name and go to send other .. or if they have an email in their nickname ex: <[email protected]> then they're fake too. But thanks for the info.

 

Yes some of them do that too, i find it so hard to believe that i would go and scam mils from people for a game i never play. Most people who are scammed are so fuckin thick that they won't even try to verify its really me and therefore deserve to be scammed. new sig now that will hopefully get through to these close minded people.

It isn't a script Annex, it's a program that's similiar to msn but edited to allow unlimited spaces. I can give more info on it to anyone that needs it.

Aswell to go even a little farther on PMing, make sure the person PMs you first, along with his current MSN. Even then, it can get complicated.

Did you know if you google "msn imposter", Sythe.org comes up in the top 5.

 

It should be a rule toward MMs to make them PM you on Sythe and everyone should be aware of the rule.

Oh yes that, i nearly fell a victim to that one.. I met the person who invented it when he added me as a fake pen.
Besides the PM, that's the only way to notice; when they add you.
Apparently he calls his invention "multi-lining".
I believe he called himself, ummmm... Oxab, or oxability. can't really remember since i blocked him shortly after he tried to scam me lol.

In my opinion there should be some notices out to remind people to ALWAYS check the email of people who add them on msn. That prevents you from as much as wasting time with an imposter
