Jeff you can take pics of your character my pressing the prtscn button located at the top right of most keyboards. After you do that, open up a program such as paint and press ctrl + v or go to the edit tab and hit paste. That should paste your picture into paint. Then you can edit and save and upload from there.

Also, there is a screenshot button on most clients like EliteSwitch. That is the client I use and I can take screenshots with it. If you use the prntscrn button, you need to crop down the image just so it's the runescape java window or whatever. I hope this helps.
