    Winload.efi Error, Windows 8
    Hey figured I'd give this a shot, I have an ASUS Laptop that suddenly is giving me an error at startup saying failed to load winload.efi

    I've read online that it can be fixed with a repair disc..


    which I don't have..


    600$ laptop..


    where can i obtain the files that is legit? i can put them on a USB and use that to repair, right?

    help is appreciated, ty! :)

    Unfortunately no, from what i read on there i need a key of some sort in order to DL the files from the microsoft site which I do not have currently :(

    Then you'll need to torrent a copy of Windows 8 to use to repair.
