Yeah, but hopefully they don't perform like the Heat did in 2011. Bosh, Wade, and James all made it to the Finals that year but boy, was it disgusting. Their first year of chemistry was complete trash. Hopefully Durant can get into the rhythm of the Warriors play of basketball and just fit right in.

 

i dont think cleveland will win another imo, but I think GS will bounce back especially with Durant as their new SF

 

I think its a completely different scenario. GS currently has a winning chemistry and I don't think there is anything Durant can do to make them a worse team. Miami had to completely start over chemistry wise pretty much so it took them awhile to figure things out. I do think Durant will complement their team nicely. He is an extremely versatile player imo.

 

I think the scenario isn't far off. Their bench for the last two seasons have been the reason for their success. The team was very deep. They lost that this off season, and even if you add Durant to the team, that simply means more iso ball is introduced.

 

As stated Durant brings a lot of versatility. I'd like to see him "man up" a little bit this offseason. If he can build up his inside game, he'll be a multi functional key for them.

 

Warriors lost their first pre-season game to Toronto, 97-93. It wasn't a terrible game but they both need some work.

KD shot horribly and the starters didn't get that many minutes to go and dominate the opposing team

 

For their first preseason with Durant? It wasn't that terrible of a loss. They have a lot of stuff to work on, but it's better for them to work out the kinks and get the losses out of the way during preseason than in the regular season. It's also good for their newer bench to get some minutes as well, to experience the type of play the Warriors use.

 

The only thing they need to work on is how they can gel all their playstyles into one cohesive unit to become more efficient not just offensively but defensively as well

Who are you going for this year?

 

I've rooted for the Boston Celtics since early 2007. With isiah thomas becoming an elite PG and us acquiring al horford, i think we have a legit ( but very tough ) chance to make it out of the east.

 

Tough? I don't think so. Last year they did very well, and now having a more dominant PF I think they're set on making a great impact on the East. Even if they don't make the conf. finals/semi's, they won't go without a fight.

 

We did alright, but not great, mainly because we lacked big men. Our interior defense was shit. Now with al horford that'll improve

 

Definetly. This year should be a pretty good year, for most teams.

 

It's the preseason but those damn Warriors looking too damn good.

 

Last nights game against the Clippers was really nice. I think the final score was 120-97. They were hitting shots, being a cohesive team and really getting their shit together.
