Those Stupid Dumbfucks!

Well look at that. I got some keyloggers, probably from LimeWire, and when I virus scanned my computer some didn't show up. I never downloaded any RS stuff off there just music. But someone changed my password, set some bogus recovery questions, and then when I log in it says invalid password. I try to get my pass back but I see they put some new recovery questions, probably had that hidden keylogger as I was changing my recoveries and pass as I do every month. Then I went to recover my account and told them all my previous passwords and told them when I last logged in. Told them the list of IP addresses I regularly play from. And after a couple of days, those British fucks didn't gimme my account back even though it's so obvious my account got jacked. A warning to all Sythe members. Never use LimeWire.

 

if you old recoveries questions... try using those... even the recoveries are changed or deleted the old ones still work... and i dont think you can get key loggers from music downloads...

 

i use limewire... just dont download exes or other programs off of it...

same mate sorry to say but i use limewire sure there are sometimes crap on it but never the less i never had problems maybe you should try to find the real cause of it maybe a freind that changed your pass :S or someone you know send you a unknow email??? But limewire is a good program one of the best there is to download things and it has a pretty good firewall itself.

I heard that LimeWire has security vulnerabilities, and my friends say that the viruses on other people's computers can possibly somehow get on your computer too when you are downloading each others files, even if it's music you could get some sort of stuff other then that particular download attached. LimeWire sucks. I found much better programs in the last few hours. Ares is way better, no viruses or software. And for torrents use Azureus, it's way more faster and reliable. LimeWire actually has no firewall, anti-virus, and anti-porn whatsoever, they lie. That program itself should be illegal.

 

Well sure it is illigal they dont have anything ??? i never knew ooh heck with it i have a pretty good protection on my comp so its oke but well i am going to try to download the ones you said above

And too bad the FrostWire developers projects and the FrostWire community is dieing. FrostWire was way better than LimeWire. Now that could compare with Ares.

I stopped using limewire, my sister said she went to a seminar in U of M that talked about the music companies cracking down on music downloaders. Scared the shit out of me enough to start buying songs off of itunes =/

 

The chance of them finding you is low, but higher if you use LimeWire since it's so insecure. They can track you down with you IP address, MAC address, and some other stuff. Since they're s so many people pirating music the RICAA is too busy to prosecute everyone. Never mass download or upload or they might catch you. Use good firewalls and proxies when you are about to pirate stuff off a p2p program.

 

still try recovering your account back with old recoveries and your first and old passes... then 10 to 1 youll get you account back... i had an account hacked and a year later... i tryed old recoveries.... since he changed them... i was able to recovered it
but the music you downloaded probably wasnt a virus itself.... but an object infected by a virus
