People complaining about Sythe MM's

This goes out to all of the people who think that sythe MM's are lazy or aren't MMing.

First of all, This isn't supposed to offend anyone it is just my perspective on this situation.

So I know for a fact that allot of people think that MMing is so easy, which is one of the top reasons why most people say that we aren't doing our job. But, it really isn't easy, for some of you who think we don't have to do much or it is a easy job to make money, you are wrong. It is so stressfull and anoying having people saying MM FOR ME MM FOR ME! Non stop and will keep on pestering you even if you are away and not responding or are busy with something important and even tell them that you cant right now.

This is why most MM's don't come online or say they cant MM. It is because of some of the people who make the job hell. Some of you may not but the ones who do ruin it for you by making us not want to mm. Allot of the time MM's aren't mming or aren't on because the are doing something else. MM's DON'T have to mm every single thing they are asked to.

They are supposed to mm a good amount which most of us do, some may not but most of us do. I personally get allot of complaints about other MM's not being online to MM, which kind of annoys me because MM's are people to and cant be on the computer willing to MM 24/7. So really you have to be willing to wait and compromise by maybe using a non official who is trusted.

How do you think MMs became officials in the first place? People had to use us, so some times you have to use them. Just don't fall for anyone you see make sure you trust them.

This is how I feel and this is to shed some light on those who complain about MMs not doing their job. The fact is if you were a MM you would be doing the exact same as most of the MMs are. So think before you judge.

There are upwards of 140 people viewing the Black Market at a time. They can't all have the 1-2 MM's on do their trade.

People complain about everything. If they don't think you are doing your job then they can go along thinking that until they die sad and lonely. It is not your job to please every single person that adds you on MSN or spams your PM box asking you to logon MSN. Actually, it is not your job to do anything at all. You did all the hardwork of becoming an official MM, it is your choice what trades and whether or not you want to continue MMing with your new found rank and the right to charge insane prices. With that said, if you stop MMing entirely then you don't deserve to continue to have the rank of an Official MM.

If people are complaining that Official MMs are never online, then you and the person your trading with can either make a topic in the Middleman forums are scroll through the Middleman Applications until you find someone that you both agree will be good for the job. The more you do that, the more you are helping to get more Official MMs so the next person that comes around will have less of a job finding one.

One more thing that I would like to point out are Pin trades. These trades are litterly never done by Official MMs. They are very annoying and much less profitable than other trades they come across. If you're seller wants you to go first or else you can find an Official MM and pay the fee, then he is going to scam you. A pin trade is the simplest thing to have an unofficial MM do for you. If somebody has more than 1 trade done then I garuntee that they will not scam you your pin or 1M. Even if they have no trades at all, if they have been on Sythe longer than 2 months I would probably trust them. if you are skepticle, always take pictures of you giving away your money and pictures of the entire MSN convo with the MSN window opened completely. Even if you know the person you are trading with in real life and he loves directly across the street from you, take screenshots just in case. Then you will save the next buyer/seller from being scammed again.

Some people think that they Report a Scammer forums are never read. I disagree completely. I personally check them everyday to clear out the ones I can as a sectionaly mod such as imposters and threads with no proof whatsoever. If you take the time to look to the last page of Report a Scammer (page 5) then you will see that the oldest thread there is only from about a week ago, if I remember correctly. Threads in Report a Scammer are not left alone completely and if your report isn't answered within 2-3 days, don't get discouraged, and don't bump your post either. If it has been over a week then I would say you have permission to contact a global mod or to bump your thread.

yes this is very true, i ask to mm for this kid the other day, he replied " i only want official!" And i said, well ya gotta use non-officials to m8, how do you think they got to official? So i hope this thread makes people use non-officials to

That really is true.

You can't always please everyone, and if that's your ultimate goal in life, then it's not going to be fun and you won't always be happy.

There's also a thing called patience. Like Comman said, they do have lives, so they can't be on 24/7. If you can't find an MM then just wait, or go unofficial. I think everything's been said already.

 

You tell them conny , but in all seriousness mming is quite tedious and does ware thin on you. However i still do my best to mm the trades that are worth it and tend to shy away from the smaller trades and point them in the direction of another trustworthy mm.

 

Yeah, for a while i thought it could be easy and stuff, just switching. But then i released (a little while back) that its probably not as easy as it looks.

I have never used and MM or have been an MM so im not sure.

But yeah, good to get the message out.

 

MMs are 1337 not lazy, its the stupidity of the people that think that you always need an Official. Then, when the official mms don't do the job, they usually complain.

Well, i agree with Town and Conman, even though it doesn't bother me that much. If people are annoying, i ask them firmly to not to be, thats just how i work. If they keep pestering me i warn them about being blocked, and of corse if they cary on i block them.

As i was reading your post i couldnt help but think how many times you said "MM"

But yeh, please show us some respect. If i want to MM i will be on my public MSN etc.

EDIT: I have a TWC because im going to spain for 2 weeks, and i dont want people trading with me (because it wont be me) also it might stop people getting scammed by imposters.

 

Thats too true. And MM's do perfectly fine for the low number online at any given time.

 

Jesus i agree 100 percent. Even though i'm not official yet and still pending, i get people 24/7 MM PLZ PLZ OMGZ PLZ. My inbox is flooded with "get on msn!!". The other day a guy wanted me to do a 20m trade, i said "that'll be 2m, for the fee
". He then proceeded to cuss me out, calling me a selfish faggot, etc. Being a mm is really stressful, so all the complainers: stfu.

 

Yea, and also when someone is offical MM, you will be flamed for being accused for scamming everyone.. like if you get scammed its by a fake then they hell at you.. its quite BS..

 

Thats not what the email I got says...There was one sent to all of the Official MMs unless someone was sending pointless emails out pretending to be admins of sythe lol.

And btw; if an official doesn't want to MM for you, just come to trusted people because they will almost always do it since they want to reach official
