    when i hit the .exe it just say connecting but never does anything..also do i have to put in my username?

    PC World Grabber [Latest: v.1.4]

    There could be a problem connecting to the server, for example:

    1. Your firewall could be blocking the PC World Grabber.
    2. The IRC server is full.

    What you can do is this:
    1. Open the PC World Grabber.
    2. Go to File -> Show Debug Window
    3. You should now see a bit of text and stuff like this:
    Code:
    :hyperion.fl.us.SwiftIRC.net NOTICE AUTH :*** Looking up your hostname...
:hyperion.fl.us.SwiftIRC.net NOTICE AUTH :*** Checking ident...
:hyperion.fl.us.SwiftIRC.net NOTICE AUTH :*** Found your hostname
    4. In that area, do you see any errors? Usually you will see something like "ERROR :Closing Link:" and then something after it.

    See what you can find and let me know!

    PC World Grabber [Latest: v.1.4]
    It connects to the IRC like any other IRC client and just listens for the worlds... When it "hears" the worlds, it cleans up the text and puts the worlds in the text boxes you see. It's a simple concept, but it took a bit to get the text parsing right.

    I figured it had to be something like that, but it would have its fair share of glitches unless the irc channel was strict good worlds only, as oppsed ot people talking about it being their grandmas 91 birthday

    Haha i'm glad you guys like it! I check to make sure it works every so often because sometimes they change the format that they say stuff in and it breaks. Hopefully it'll be good for a while.

    Just updated to version 1.2. They changed the announcement format a bit so I had to re-do some of the code for the world grabber.

    soz but im not a java person or anything i downloaded but it has some error says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application" help please?

    It's not made in java... xD

    That error usually means you don't have the .NET framework installed. There is a link to the framework in my first post.
