How long will Runescape last

i doubt it.

 

LOL if the game is still around and I'm bored when I'm retired, I would play. Hopefully I would be unmuted from my perm. mute by then and remember my password and username.

 

It will last for ages but it will be shit. There will be lots of level 100+ players.

 

Eventually wont they have to make the lvls go higher? i mean everyone would be like 100+

 

OK. This is what they need to do to make Rune fun again.

Make fucking Runescape 3.

Make it like WoW graphics and you need to buy a Cd or something.

 

i agree with you there all the way! but rs is still fun to me, but if they do that it, it would be awsome if they transfered are accounts

 

rs should last quite a while untill they get tired of updating it and keep it at a steady pace for a while.

 

No more than 3year too many ppl leaving for WOW if they dont make new skill more ppl will leave soon

 

If runescape ever comes close to ending I would be prepared to buy the jagex company.

 

even i play warcraft from time to time, its good.

 

rs will be just weird... cause all rares will be priceless so im keepin mine

 

its boring now.... i say it would last if they amde it into a CD rom type of game that u have to buy from walmart or something for like 40 bux to play.. just like WoW...

 

LOL rs3. That's gonna be a sight. Lets be honest here, as long as people feel like they want to pay for runescape, it'll be alive. It's as simple as that. Unless they upgrade it and make it look better (get out of java to a new medium), then it's going to be over for me in a few years.

 

Lets put it this way when your married and have 3 kids their will be a rs299.

 

i dont think rs will end for a long, long time...

 

In browser games will slowly die out over a long time when more people move to bigger better games and more come out, also by then parents will probably let their kids download things so they won't have to play just RS anymore.

 

i would say about 2 more years, they going to ruin the game with so much updates.. (gonna start with a car -> pc's and in the and its gonna be like star wars lego -.-)

 

if they come out with cars.... -.- that takes away the purpose of the game, and i would quit rs right away

 

lawl. cars. They should make the max levels go higher like on mopar servers, although it would take away some balance =o

 

as long as they continue making their millions of dollars, i don't see it going anywhere.
