Did i waste my time? 85 mining what a blow it turned out to be!

hello, i just want to know your view on rune mining in rs2.

i recently spent alot of time getting it from 62>85.

i hardly get 10 ore's an hour. which is 120k an hour...

now look at 85 slayer which role's in alot more.

Keep getting pked in f2p and p2p what would you do give up on the mining and go for something else?

 

Meh, i was never a fan of mining, unless you have other good skills or feel like training them up...

 

85 mining isn't worth it.


1) Ores are too hard to mine
2) You get pked too much
3) Hero's guild is always being used

 

lol my mining is 58 and i hated getting every level of it. as for mining the ores i never liked it because its only one ore pure rock and i always found my self cursin the other guy for taking my ore. yep wasted your time. 85 woodcut or 85 fishing and cooking would of been better.

 

I hate mining too, but I did use a buddy's 85 miner. Level 3 combat. Rarely gets pked in p2p, But I went f2p also. I made a good 10m, Never being pked. Just gotta be lucky in the wild I suppose. If you've seen my tank DM you have seen my luck.

 

Mine me 251 rune ores and ill pay 10kea =P Should keep you busy

 

i think its a total waiste, but now after te new qeusts theres rune rocks outside of wild, but yeah its waiste unless u deicede tio macroe it =p

 

you should have gotten 85 mining on a level 3 and sold for a lot

 

^Yep, but 85 mining on any account usually adds more profit. Still, you never have to worry mining and you will have most likely have a higher total levels. Anyways, I give alot more credit to a level 85 miner then a level 99 fletcher or cooker.
