by this I mean getting all the files that the game (java applet) needs to run and make a mock webpage that contains the applet that makes it think it's the runescape site and save them on a portable usb stick so that you can play runescape from the mock webpage when you have to access the internet through a proxy server (such as at school or work) that blocks you from www.runescape.com.

If you still have no clue what i'm talking about, look up some of the stuff on wikipedia.

It's not possible because jagex would ban you. They detect from where you are playing runescape.

using the java function getClassBase() they can locate from where you are playing runescape. If the ClassBase isn't runescape.com, you will get banned.

I could, then, use a xammp (used it in my school web design class), so that when you type in a nonexistant domain, such as www.thisisnotarealwebsite.info, You could access a file on the local system, but for xammp, you have to install it on the computer and edit the HOSTS file (somewhere in like system32 or something), so you couldn't just plug in a usb stick and make it work.... Hmm, mabye I can somehow configure a proxy in FroxyProxy on Firefox portable.... Although you have shown me that this is a bit of a hassle
    anyway, thanks for the help.

o_O Spam. :) Whilst you're on this topic though i will tell you that somehow they can't detect what site clients are using to play RS. So there IS a way to change it.
