Y u got locked, jagex protect from acc trade.

I think i know why jagex locks account and why runescape account trade going to die.

When you creating runescape account, jagex records your IP and day when u created your account.

And i think what every time you use:
* Recover a lost password
* Recover a locked account
* Appeal an Offence/Ban
Jagex checks from what IP you logged to account, ore tried to recover it.


Today i got problem which my lvl 106 account, when i tried to appeal 2 braked rules: "Offensive Language" and "Encouraging Others to Break Rules", i got only 3 black marks. After around 20-30 mins, when i tried to log in to game i got message what my account locked. When i tried to "Recover a locked account" (i entered Recovery questions, Transaction ID, 2 previous passwords
and new pass). after around 1 day whey sad what i entered not much info .
Another my account lvl 80 got locked when i tried to change world.
I entered all info like in lvl106 account, plus i entered 3 previous passwords, and successfully last login, bank pass, and 2 oldest Transaction ID+date.
guess what i got?
"Unfortunately you have not provided us with enough information in order for us to issue you with a new password....." .

I think the problem is what i dint entered my IP and day when i created my account. Coz i created accounts i dk when and IP's to. And i think what's whe problem why account trade ore scam going to die.
For example every time you log in to your account you can see a message: "Your last log ..... from IP: .....". What shows what Jagex really can record from what IP your account created.

What if you have a brother that plays?

What if you share internet with your nieghbor?

What if your at a public place?

What If you moved?

What if your at a hotel?

Well i sad what Jagex will remember your IP where account created. And you can play from every there but you account creation IP WILL NOT be changed.

Dont even bother accusing me of faking this this is one of the many jagex caches learn before you guys question.

 

you say they tell by the ip...well if they lock you then just say to them you were round your friends house, different ip so if they lock you if you logged on to a dif comp so the ip is differnt then millions of people would be getting banned every week, runescape would die within about 2-6 weeks.

Try tools > Internet Options > Settings > View objects/files > Folders > Windows > Jagex32 Cache.

They do save it for your benefit, however if you don't want the black market to die i suggest using a proxy while registering accounts.

and the jagex cache is files used t oload rs faster otherwise ppl with dialup would wait 10 mins a day just to play and it will lag bad

You guys are fucking stupid. Sorry to say it...
If you think that this guys theory is correct ask yourself these questions:-

1) What if you have a dynamic ip adress?
2) What if you live in two homes.. e.g. divorced parents, second home abroad?
3) What if your account was created years ago with a completely different computer and completely different ISP?
4)....

So many more so i stopped there, point is the IP has nothing to do with it and neither does anything that is stored in cache.

If you are going to reply about how i am wrong at least answer them questions for me then i will post more.

 

lol dude if your account gets locked the only way it happend is if you try to apeal a black mark/ban and you say i think someone has had acces on my account.... then about the only way to get it unlocked is if u have the first agreement number...

 

Xjaa i did find something, wow i did not know Jagex put something in your windows folder lol that is so funny, but i dont think it does any real damage i have changed my ip lots of times, and i have traded and bought accounts and nothing happened interesting idea i wonder what that little folder does lol.

 

yeah i found it too its weeird try to open one of them it goes to the internet
i still dont understand why they save it on your comp,, sue them for stalking you! or threaten to unless you get 999m and99m of every item on rs lol!

 

i don't think the file they put on your comp is dangerous or anything it probably makes the game load faster [ill load rs then delete it then load it to see if thats true]

it loads the same and i found some runescape files in:
start>my computer>c>WINDOWS>.file_store_32
and theres more in there

i think when you start t walk around in rs it adds map files to the folders and when you open the bank ect... it probably makes transitions smoother between different areas

 

so are people going to get banned for loging on to their account at someones freinds house
