Harry Potter #7-my experience *CONTAINS SPOILERS

Well, I went to costco with my dad today, early in the morning. It was 8:30. The second they started opening the gate, I rushed through the crowd, grabbed a copy, and yell out

HARRY DIES RON IS A WEREWOLF HERMIONE MARRIES VICTOR KRUM

and then I go to the check out line. From what I hear from the crowd, they beleive me, though I know it's not true. So I spend the day following my mom around cuz she makes me (i get saved with a 6 hour stop @ grandma's, who has satellite tv upstairs, which has porn)

So, I end up reading 500 pages the whole day, on and off watching movies. So I just stopped for a bit to make this thread. I got the book because I had to know what happened. I read the first 2 books in 4th grade, the others in 5th, and gotten all the new books the day they came out
(i somehow go to costco by chance the exact day they come out, i only went for the last one in the morning cuz.....i was bored )

Anyways, enough BS. I was wondering if anyone wanted to discuss it.


My thoughts:
I think that Dumbledore was a fucking genious. And I didn't see the sexual relationship with Ron and Hermione.It really suprised me. It was actually say that Dobby and Mad-Eye died. I think that when they make this movie, it will be pretty cool, and when Voldemort was 'flying' I visualized the silver surfer from F4,and replaces the board with smoke
Oh, and one last thing:
Why didn't harry fuck/rape hermione when Ron went away for two weeks because of the argument?

 

LMao, i just watch the movies And i heard there's a bunch of people going to a psychologist or something because the last book is so heartbreaking or something... :\

 

It's a good book.

And honestly, I suspected that Dumbledore had been planning his own death. Think about it - he let Snape teach Defense against the Dark Arts knowing that he could only keep one teacher/year for that subject - meaning he knew Snape was going to have to leave at the end of the year.

 

@SMR:It's true, I mean, he did plan out all of that stuff. The thing with Ron leaving, and yah.

@King: Wow. I was kinda said when Dobby died, I totally forgot about him. But psychologist? :/ It's just a book. I hope theres an 8th one. JKR said that she might if she has spare time, it's not in her schedule though.

Snape kills Dumbeldore

Ron marries Hermoine and they have 3 kids.

well, at the end of the 6th book, hagrid mentions he saw snape and dumbledore arguing.

well people took guesses, but it turned out it was on a matter related to that.

overall, the 7th book particularly had a good plot, and i liked the ending and such.

 

The whole "planned death" conspiracy was thrown out all over the internet. I had read it an age ago, and I would have thought that Rowling knew about these and perhaps would change her ending. I think she should have gone with the "Snape killed Dumbledore on purpose (so therefore he was actually evil) then Voldemort, at the end, tries to kill Harry with Snapes wand, which fucks up due to the magical bond because Dumbledore died to save Harry (much like his mother's)."

Though I must say the whole thing with Snape loving Lily came as a surprise... I thought that was well done.

 

Well I haven't read the book, try not to post any spoilers. I'm going to go get it tomorrow.

its a great series but i dont thnik jkr should make another because they are getting kinda lame like after 7books what more is there to write about?

I found the last book a fantastic read!Great way to wrap up the plot while bringing up new theories showing Dumbledore's weakness(Spoiler alert) and how he could trust Snape

 

It was a good book..I got it around 11:30 am and was done around 8:30-9:00...Some of the deaths were a big surprise to me as I didn't go looking over the internet for clues

 

Maybe you should read the book?
