PK Noob Needs Some Lessons

Hi i'm sebjory and am new to this forum. I play RS F2P.

Questions:

1. Which is the best Pure for F2P PKing (noob question but which do you guys recommend)?

2. I read some threads about Pures saying how peopl shouldnt increase their range or magic.... I thought in RS2 as long as your Range or Mage is below Strength it doesn't contribute to combat level - could someone please clarify this?

3. Is there a decent guide out there or possibly some videos i could watch about effective PKing?

pfff dont even bother pking in f2p. even in the rare occasion that you find someone that will DM you w/o running and calling you a noob. once you get the kill ull just get pjed.

everyone in f2p pks w/o honor so dont even bother.

I'll answer the first question, I suggest a Strength pure because of their high hits and they own rangers Sometimes Mages too.

1. The bet pure with out a doubt in F2P is a Range-Strength Pure. You need to range unlit they are on low HP then K.O. with R2H! Works a charm.

2. Im not sure if you wont level if your Range + Mage are below your strength but is Sure if your mage was one level you wont gain a combat if your range is equal or less that of your mage. Eg. If you have 70 range 50 Mage. If you get 70 Range 70 Mage you will not gain a Comabt.

3. Generally people dont make F2P Pking Vids, but if you go to Wildy you will see what i mean about Range-Strength Pures.

da rage is right.The best pure is a ranger wif str.But i find it better to get 40 defence along with it

1)Less chances of dying
2)Last longer in a fight staying at high hp most of the time.You will still be able to ko with the range r2h technq.
3)Able to own mage's.Dragon slayer required(dhidebody)

I suggest to wear rune helm,rune chain,d chaps,d vambs.

Also all you need is 25 mage for teleport or if you dont want to dont get it.I find the extra mage unnecasary.

Most people will call you a defence noob.What do you care?As long as you're owning them it looks like thier the noob.

Also i have done dragon slayer so surely i should wear rune plate?

p.s. anyone know which monsters drop law runes most often on F2P?

 

Rune chains don't give negative range bonusses, and pretty high slash defence. And about pure str's owning all rangers and mages, I'm not sure about low lvl's but I thought that till lvl 30 magic is the best by far, and after that range pures own. I'm 82 cb now with 87 range, 73 hp, 60 def and 52 pray. And in death matches I can own lvl 90's. And pures with 1 def are very easy to own, just dont get your hp lower then 35 and they will never KO you and I hit about 10+ every hit on their weak monk robes.
In f2p I'll never lose while soloing if you just keep health above 35. (unless you get PJed) This is considered as saving but who cares. If you want to get kills, get a nice team with people of your lvl and go Death Dothing at the hill giants north of varrock. Try to KO people there before they can teleport. Just add everybody you team with when in wildy, you make lots of friends and if you want to pk again call them all.
