Even if abortion is illegal, women will still go through with it. Have you ever heard of Becky Bell? An innocent girl that did not want her child and died because of an illegal abortion.

Every child should be a wanted child. What about those victims of rape?

Exactly. She still is her own person and has every right to decide what she wants to do with her baby.

 

Yes i believe that abortion should be legal, it is good for both the mother and child (asides from dieing =p) and the society in general because for many unwanted children, their mother will be more harsh and unloving, this is likley to lead to that child becoming a criminal or murderer. In fact a study done in the book Freakonomics notes that two decades or so after abortion was made legal, crime rates dropped, this was theoretically because the criminals who would be reaching their prime were never born.

Abortion should be up to the parent, it should be thier descision wether they want to keep the baby or not. I think the real question here is; When is abortion concidered murder? There is a very thin line here. When does an unborn baby become a human being with the freedom of life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness?

 

No abortion should not be allowed. You're basically killing someone. It's like saying..Can you kill a man that's gonna die in the next 10 minutes?..No exactly.. it's the same thing.

I do not support abortion. Yet, if you are under the age of 18 and do not have a job to support yourself and or a small family, I believe you should have one, because if the person has no money, and got impregnated by working the local corner for money because you're family has nothing, you should have one. Put it this way, what's worse, dying of a fast and painless death of abortion, or dying a slow and painful death of dehydration, starvation, or some other method. On the other hand, if you are over 18, you should NOT have an abortion, by all means, you'll just get depressed because you've ended something that most likely would have made you happy when you were down, and somebody to talk to when there's nothing else to do.

 

If your under 18 and poor abortion is still wrong. How hard can it be to hand over the baby to the hospital? So what your saying is bs.

 

I believe it should be kept legal.
If the girl is young (under 18) and obviously cannot support herself i believe it is right that it goes forth as the child would'nt be brought up properly.

 

It costs money to get the hospital to even let the baby be born. If you have no money, then you can't. Yeah, it's still wrong, but what you say is idiotic.

And people who have bin raped ussaly caused it them selfs, by going out alone at night and such things. I think its rare to see a girl being raped in the middle of the day in a street filled with people.
Fact is that girls/womans just cant go out in the streets when its dark anymore, so for some to do it makes them part of responsible for what may hapend to them.

 

You're arguing as to why it is immoral. That is all very well and good, but, why should it be illegal, in terms of the law?

 

Illegal because your killing some sort of life inside of you that for shure would have becomed 100% human in just a few months if only you´d not kill it.

It IS potential life and the chance of an healthy little baby is very high.
The sperm and egg seperate is not potential life, but once combined it would turn into life if it was not killed, meaning that sperm and egg combined is potential life.
