What can we do to "make sythe.org great again"?

The markets are dead unless you're at the top. The quality of the Sythe community has decreased because the website has been unable to retain some of the more active and contributing members. If you have a quality community, there is likely to be more activity. More activity also means a stronger Sythe market. I find it almost impossible to be able to buy some BTC or even runescape items like gold because the market is so dead and slow.

 

make different section in market for shops and casual traders, so they can actually be noticed and not get bumped out of 1st page in an hour

It is pretty undoable I agree with that but progressive tax is something that would come pretty well especially if you wish to include more new players/traders.

Build a fire wall to keep all the scammers out.... AND MAKE THE SCAMMERS PAY FOR IT!

 

Sorry, well to be on a more serious note. I'm rather new and starting off is always hard, if sythe could add a function where it would only be a non refundable method such as BTC or Western union as a " deposit " so to speak. So if that person scams the person who got scammed will be refunded what the " deposit " was.

This would allow new sythe users to be a little more trusted and get more business such as training accounts or selling gold.

Overall Its a tough area, because it is so sensitive.

 

I would recommend adding in a 'thanks' or 'reputation' feature to be displayed next to post count, or ones avatar.

This often inspires users to build post counts, and help the community in return for reputation.

This has been a driving factor leading to the success of mpgh, and reddit. (sorry for advertising)
