scar script help

Hey guys, I am new to scar, I hav scar divi, and whenever i cut and paste a script in, or open a script, it NEVER compiles without failing... it usually says because it can't access some file, like there is a file i think that it needs to run, but when u copy and paste, that file isn't there... what should i do??
